This GCC house opened in 1978 as a triple. As the Hialeah market became more lucrative an additional five screens were added.

In 1996, GCC sold it to an independent who renamed it the Favorite Cinemas and ran it as a discount subrun house until 2003.

now part of miami-dade college. it closed due to competition from united artists/later muvico theaters and its availability to show first run features, as well as having a better interior
