Stovall Theatre, Sayre, OK

The Stovall Theatre was opened in late-June 1950. This theater has been closed for many years and is in need of extensive renovation.

the stovall has been purchased by the sayre main street players. they plan on restoring and opening as a live theater

The June 10, 1950 issue of BoxOffice reported that the Stovall, “an 800-seater at Sayre, jointly owned by (Video Independent Theatres) and George Stovall”, was scheduled to open later that month.
