AMC Classic Royal Knight 3

This triplex opened in the early-1980’s in a building that formerly served as a J.C. Penney department store. The formerly GKC-operated Royal Knight Cinema became part of the Carmike chain. By early-2017 it had been taken over by AMC. It had closed by June 2018.

J.C. Penney moved out of the building in 1983 and the theater opened in 1987.

Slightly poorer picture showing that it didn’t use all of the former JCPenney.
