The 11-screen Virgin opened on 12th December 1996. It was taken over by UGC, then Cineworld. In March 2006 Empire Cinemas took control and it was re-branded Empire.

Seating capacities in the screens range from 550, down to 129

This site did not open in 2006. It was built in 1996 as a Virgin Cinema, becoming UGC, Cineworld and then Empire in 2006.
