Located on the island of Unguja, in the old quarter named Stone Town (a World Heritage Site) of the capital city of Zanzibar(now part of Tanzania).

Opened as the Sultana Theatre, the Art Deco style Cine Afrique is now closed and has been renovated into a supermarket.
