Correction: The above description is for the Ferris Theater that was in Shreveport.
The Iris was a pre 1920s theater that was located across the street from the Strand Theater and by 1935 a Chinese restaurant had taken its place.
The Iris was a pre 1920’s theater. It was located across the street from the Union Depot which later became the Jefferson Hotel.
