This is the Gem Theatre in 1920 showing “The Branding Iron” as designed by its manager , W.R. Rowell. The Gem opened as the Palace Gem Theatre in 1907 and was apparently expanded by a floor in 1916 to become a larger by 300 additional seats and a more modern facility.
