Harkins Scottsdale 101

Viewing: Photo | Street View

This complex has the first of Harkins' "Cine Capri" screens as well as a mini museum about the history of the original Cine Capri. It opened June 27, 2003.

At the moment I think the Cine Capri Screen is the best place in Arizona to see a major blockbuster. I only wish Harkins' had added a 70mm projector.

This is one of several multiplexes designed for Harkins by The Beck Group, a Dallas, Texas-based architecture, development, and construction company.

Harkins closed the first half of the theater to remodel the Scottsdale 101 somewhere on may or June 2017. The first half of the remodel opened on August 31st 2017 and the second half of the remodel closed down on the same day when the first half of the remodel was opened. The second half of the remodel with an upgraded Cine Capri will open somewhere when Star Wars The last Jedi comes out like December 14th or something. The remodel of the Scottsdale 101 includes an In-lobby bar, reserved seating, luxury seats, and upgraded interior decor.
