The Chelsea Theatre was located on Fourth Street in downtown Sioux City.
The theatre has been closed and demolished for some time.

The Chelsea Theatre was an Adult XXX theatre. It had two screens
(the Chelsea I and II) It was still open in 1983,not shure how long after that though.
A possible location correction. I could be mistaken, but I think the Chelsea was located at 806 4th street (not west 4th), near where the convention center is located now. Back then it was a very seedy area called lower 4th, so the adult oriented Chelsea fit right in. The area has been significantly rejuvenated since then.
macbot3000 is correct. The Chelsea’s address had to have been 806 4th Street, which would have been downtown, in the block east of Jones Street. 806 W. 4th is in predominantly residential district. Even Hamilton Boulevard is mostly residential until you get up to 7th Street.
