This appears to be a newer theater, replacing an earlier 5 or 6 screen cinema which was located inside the mall. The mall itself went under a few names including Glynn Place Mall and Colonial Mall.

This theater is very popular with students at the nearby Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. It is in the Georgia Theatres Company (GTC) chain.

I used to go there when I was a student at FLETC. From your description, this is a new theater in the mall.

The Glynn Place 11 was designed by Hiscutt & Associates, and is one of more than a dozen cinema projects the Alpharetta, Georgia, firm has designed for the Georgia Theatre Company II.

From the photos I’ve seen it looks like they used “UA the Movies” signage. Was this originally a UA theatre?
