Information and color photos of the V-A Drive-In come direct from the roadsideoklahoma web pages -
Notes: "This was presumably a tiny drive-in. The only thing that remains is the concession stand."

The V-A Drive-In was operating by 1952 when it was operated by W. J. Nelson. It was still open in 1960, when the screen was blown down.

Old State Highway 7 & Alma Rd, Velma, OK 73491

The above address will map accurately to the location of the drive-in, which was on the southeast corner of the intersection.

Here is a 1973 aerial photo of the drive-in, courtesy of Earth Explorer and USGS:

NYozoner is correct about the address, the drive-in was located at Alma Rd & Old State HYW 7, Velma, OK. It sat on the SE corner of the intersection facing North.

You can still see the outline of the ramps and the concession stand/projector booth is still intact.

@davidcoppock Probably Velma-Alma considering that’s what the high school is named!

The VA, owned and operated by Jack and Jimmie Hull, was mentioned in the May 16, 1960 issue of Boxoffice as one of three Oklahoma drive-ins whose screen towers “were destroyed and other damage sustained” by storms on May 4 & 5 that year.
