The Merryland Theatre was situated in Yuen Long in the New Territories.
The theatre opened to business on 14th July 1984 with a Cantonese comedy, and showed first run films until its closure in 2002.
Its 1,028-seat stadium seating auditorium was on the first floor of the theatre building.
It was converted into a church and opened to the public on 25th December, 2003.
