Standard United Artists multiplex (one large stereo-equipped auditorium, several smaller others) serving an all-ages audience in the Northwest Broward area. The Movies at Margate opened October 3, 1986. On November 19, 1993 it was taken over by Movies Inc. and was renamed Movies 8 Margate Dollar Cinema. In April 1997 it was taken over by Silver Cinemas and renamed Silver Cinemas Movies 8. It was closed on April 4, 2000. The complex and surrounding shopping center were demolished to make way for Wal-Mart.

This theatre opened in 1986 and closed in 1999.

UA dropped its Movies at Magnate venue late in 1993. It was taken over by Movies, Inc. (aka MI Theatres) which rebranded it as Movies 8 Margate Dollar Cinema beginning on November 19, 1993 operating as a sub-run discount house. In April of 1997, Silver Cinemas took on the venue operating it as Silver Cinemas Movies 8 Margate and continuing as a sub-run discount house. The Silver Cinemas Movies 8 closed permanently on April 4, 2000.
