The Starlite Drive-In was Saskatoon’s first drive-in theatre. It opened in the 1950’s on 9 acres of land, purchased by one Harold Howard.

After selling it in 1968, the Starlite Drive-In was replaced by the Chevy dealership.

This opened on July 19th, 1950 (2 days before Famous Players opened its Drive-In in Sutherland Park)

It parked 400 cars and in 1956 run by Famous Players. May 1 1967 has one showing only of “THE GREAT RACE”.Color cartoon.
