Located on Highway 9 to the north of Carlyle. The Kenpar Cinema was created in 1981 by husband and wife team, Evans and Mabel Parobec. This was one of several drive-in’s in their name.
In 1997, it was re-established as the Prairie Dog Drive-In, which has space for 300+ cars and uses 98.5 FM as its audio channel.
The drive-in has found new owners, in the form of Ray Boutin, his wife Francis, and their two daughters, Simone and Janelle.

The Prairie Dog has converted to digital. And for some reason it has moved its web site.
