Opened on June 12, 1948 with Robert Paige in “The Red Stallion, the Lenawee Auto Theatre was owned by Robert Tuttle, later Donald Swenk and then Associated Theatre. It later became the Lenawee Drive-In and then when the second screen was added in 1978 it became the Lenawee Twin Drive-In. It closed in September of 1989. The drive-in was demolished and the MJR Adrian Cinema 10 is where the drive-in once stood (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
