The Moonlight Drive-In was operating in 1950.

The Moonlight Drive-In is listed in the 1961 IMPA with a capacity for 100 cars. Not listed in 1964. In 1961 and 1964 there is also a Hiway 501 Drive-In listed for South Boston, Virginia.
