Broadway 1 and 2

Broadway Theatre was one of the few suburban theaters opened in the early-1980’s by Cathay Organization aside from Bedok, Regal and Central. It remained a single screen theater until early-1990’s when it was converted into a 2 screen cinema.

Broadway was then leased to Golden Village chain and eventually closed in 1997. In 1999 it was refurbished and reopened showing only Indian movies.
