The Varia Drive In Theatre was still operating in Jackson, Mississippi in 1963 and closed sometime in the 1970’s. It was operated by Gulf States Theatres from 1963 until 1975.

What was cool about passing the Varia Drive-In was the Alamo Motel next to it and the Borden Milk Company on the other side with that giant cow on the sign. Saw THE WIZARD OF MARS here.
Approx. address for this drive-in was 1101 Hwy 80W. Now Hayles Towing.
