I barely remember what the place looked like since I was so young but I remember seeing “The Black Hole”, “Chariots of Fire”, and “Raiders of the Lost Ark” there. The concession stand was smack in the middle of the lobby and the theaters were on either side.

The Fox Theatre was a single screen Theatre, opened on Oct. 26, 1967 by National General and later operated by Mann Theatres. Architectual firm was Pearson & Wuesthoff. Seating listed at 989. Opened as a single screen and later a second screen added to the side and then the main auditorium was divided to make it a triplex.

Does any part of the theatre still stand at the site of the Mercedes dealership?
