Already open in 1911, the Joyland Theatre was advertised in a Paramount Week ad in 1919. By 1923 it was named the New Pearl Theatre so it was most likely called the Pearl Theatre sometime in between.

In the 1914-15 edition of Motion Picture Directory, there is a Joyland Theatre listed at 1017 3rd Avenue.

That must be yet another one Ken. This one was definitely on 114th street.
