The Meadowbrook Drive-In’s opening date in the 1950s has not been found yet, but it looks like it closed on August 12, 1982 with “E.T.” and “Smokey And The Bandit”.

Thanks anyway Tom, for your kind answer. In fact finally, 4 years ago, I found the Sutton and took some polaroid pictures. Actually now it forms part of a series of abandoned movie theaters in US and Europe called “Until further notice”. You can see some of the pictures here: http://www.osvaldohopfer.com/ :)

Ok, this is nearly 4 years too late but blu_tango, that picture you have is of the Sutton Motor-In 110 Worcester Providence Turnpike, Sutton, MA 01590. It has an entry on CT as well.

spent many weekends there!!! remember seeing The Birds,Endless summer,Dr Zhivago,Sleeping Beauty, Mash many many more!!
