This opened in May 1950 at 2217 Rowesville Road and closed in 1987. Adult movies 1973-1987. I was able to confirm the location after I saw the Bon-Air grand opening ad. There was a very short-lived called the Azalea Drive-In opened in 1955 only.

There was a drive-in on Neeses Road (SC 4) at the corner of Cimmeron Drive, near the junction with US 301-601. The ramps are still there, but that’s about it. There was another one at 2231 Rowesville Road (US 21) that appears to still have the projection booth and/or concession stand.

Can anyone come up with an address or at least the crossroads of this drive-in?

I THINK it was open from ABOUT 1950-1980, if you find out different, let us know.

I heard it had a home in the screen tower, is that true?

Now that’s my kind of drive-in double feature! And I thought the Ruskin D/I in Florida was small with only 200 spaces. Mike, did you ever send me a photo of this one?

As with the Bon-Air Drive-in, any extra facts on this Drive-in would be helpful.
