Brighter illumination with circular ceiling lighting fixtures breathe new life into the back of the auditorium, as well as the mezzanine and balcony of the “new” Empire in 1940. An 18-day revamping wipes out the boxes (at very right) and provides a more (then) contemporary streamlined moderne look with deco influences.
