This was originally a United Artists theatre. All auditoriums are stadium seated, with digital sound.

This theater was acquired by AMC following their purchase of Kerasotes. It is the first AMC to be located in the Las Vegas area, which is dominated by Regal and cinemark. It is a standard 10 plex with no digital screens and I believe no stadium seating.
Rainbow Promenade was never a Kerasotes. It opened as a UA in the ‘80s. Regal/UA sold it to AMC.
AMC sold some Chicago area former Kerasotes theatres to Regal for this theatre and others
Ain’t no stadium seating in this place at all!
nope, there isn’t. Don’t know who added that because it wasn’t me.
Open 2000?
2000-2002 United Artist Theater Circuit?
2002 Regal Cinemas?
More info or photos.
I lived in Las Vegas for a short time in 1998 and it was a Rega;/UA.
I didn’t know this theater existed ‘til Sep. of 2011. That says something.
Added photo of entrance. As of March 2013 – $5 matinee shows, non-digital projection, no stadium seating.
Two snack bars available built per usual UA standards where originally you could not renter the lobby after proceeding to your auditorium. Exit was made via doors that fed directly to parking. AMC does not use this.
I never knew that to be a UA practice.
