Located in the home of Vidalia onions, Pete’s Drive-In in south Georgia parked 350 cars, quite a few for a small town. Like so many south Georgia theatres it was run by Pal Amusement Company, located in Vidalia Georgia.
Interesting, the general manager and booker for Pal Amusement Company was Pete Brice. Wonder if that is where the name came from.

The Drive-In was located on E. First St. at Lydon Rd. Has been demolished and is now a Wal Mart Supercenter.

The above address will map accurately to the location of the drive-in, which is now occupied by a Sears Hometown Store.
The drive-in is visible on Google Earth using historic aerial imagery.
The address in the current heading is off by about ½ mile to the east.
The Sweet Onion Cinemas now stands on the site of this drive-in.
