Operating in the 1970’s, a USGS topographical map shows a drive-in in the crossroads of Level Plains, about midway between Daleville and Enterprise. The theater was on Old US 84 (now Alabama 134). The theater has since been demolished and a number of small prefabricated warehouses line the property, making it a sort-of industrial park. Nothing remains of the theater except for a small tree line.

Couldn’t find any Drive-Ins in Daleville or Level Plains.

For Enterprise found:

Circle Drive-In, on Route 156, ~1980-~1985?

Coffee County Drive-In Theater, 300-350 Cars, open for sure in 1967.

M&O Drive-In, 200 Cars, ~1955-~1969? open for sure in 1967.

Coffee County Drive-In Theater should also have included ~1961-~1985?

Forgot to list for Enterprise:

Cecil Drive-In, ~1955-~1964?

Does anyone know if this drive-In had an AKA?

This drive-in could have been called the Cecil Drive-In, or the M&O Drive-In, or both. Need newspaper ads with location information from when it was still in operation for solid confirmation for the name of this drive-in.

My dad use to run that movie theater in Daleville, Al back in 76/77 as kids we would go with him every weekend. I can’t believe they tore it down. How sad

The Cecil aka Coffee County Drive-In was located north of Enterprise on Highway 84 so it wasn’t that one, also the M&O was on Damascus Rd in Enterprise so that’s a negative for both of those names.

I believe we now have a name for this one, The Dothan Eagle had some ads in the mid 1970’s for a “Dale Drive-In” listed as being in Level Plains.
