The Port Hardy Community Hall played a very important role in getting movies shown in this British Columbia City.
During the 1960’s and until the town’s first theatre opened in the mid-1970’s, it was a place to catch movies such as "For a Few Dollars More". Adults $1.25, Students $1.00 and kids 50 cents, and they had to be with a parent at all times. This was a municipal building.
