The Thunderbird Drive-In was open in the late-1960’s with a car capacity listed at 600 cars. ABC Southeast Theatres operated the drive-in from 1975 until its closing.
The Thunderbird closed in the mid-1980’s and has since been demolished. There is a new subdivision where the drive-in once stood.
Any further information on this drive-in would be appreciated.

Charlotte also had a Thunderbird Drive-in.An ABC THEATRE too. I visted it after it closed very nice.
My mom lives across the street from where it was, yep all new small houses from $85K
