The Elza Drive-In was located ‘just outside the Elza Gate’, and was originally operated by the same people who ran the Skyway Drive-In in Oak Ridge. I assume it was built in the 1940’s.

Yes,the Elza Drive-in,Bob was owned by W.J.Hatfield and held 270 cars.In 1956.
Approx. address for this drive-in was 103 Elza Dr. Behind the buildings at this location is a field where the theatre stood. The foundation for the snack bar/projection booth is still there.
