Well, Perry Highway is US 27, or Apalachee Parkway within city limits.

Was this the same drive-in as the Parkway Drive-In? It was located at 1480 Apalachee Pky. (Perry Highway)

Need an address or crossroads. More info and photos are always welcome.

Open till ~1975? Can anyone verify the exact date?

Owners:

1961 Talger Theater

1964 to at least 1967, Kent Theaters of Jacksonville, Fla., Frederick H. Kent, President & Owner, he had 27 theaters in Florida.

I don’t THINK the Parkway was a Drive-In, the only thing I could find was that it was a 5 Screen Multiplex open from 1985-1995.

Mike Rivest’s site don’t list all the theatres and drive-ins and there are some inaccuracies on his site also. Drive-Ins.com lists the Pakway Drive-In and has a photo of it from the Florida Photographic Libray at the State Library. The Florida Drive-In site also lists the Parkway Drive-In on Apalachee Pky.
