Opened on May 23, 2003 as one of the first multiplexes to be established in Shallotte and in all of Brunswick County, North Carolina. Owned and operated by Frank Theatres whom had several theatres located throughout the state.

This theater is the only cinema in the town located just off Highway 17.

The Frank Family Entertainment Group got it’s start way back in Philadelphia in 1906 with Samuel Frank. In 1966 it had the first twin cinema in the United States. Al Frank is the Chairman, with offices in Jupiter, Florida and Atlantic City, New Jersey. They have 26 Theaters with 229 screens in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

On their website they list it as both the Coastal 10 and the Coastal Stadium 10.
