Opened on December 22, 1972, this two-screen multiplex was located in the Westwood Mall. Although the rest of the mall appears to be doing fine, the multiplex has been abandoned since closing on January 4, 1996.

The Westwood Cinema 1 & 2 first opened its doors on December 22nd, 1972, under the ownership of the Carrols Development Corporation. Later, it changed hands and was taken over by CinemaNational on February 1st, 1974, followed by United Artists in 1976. Grand opening ad in photo section.
Closed on January 4th, 1996, as attendance sags. Article posted.
