The B & D Drive-In was the first drive-in in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It opened September 16, 1949 but closed only seven years later, on October 6, 1956. Most likely it lost business to two drive-ins in Escanaba and a third in Manistique.

The site is now occupied by a Marathon (formerly Total) truckstop, whose address is 7932 US-2. Given its rural setting, it’s likely that the drive-in did not have a numbered address.
