The Studio 12 opened in 1999 with seating listed at 2,779. The smallest auditorium seats 149 and the largest 340.

One thing to note on the Studio 12 is that this was the first and only theatre in NL to feature stadium seating at the time. Other amenities are digital sound, automated box offices, and digital 3D. One auditorium was retrofitted with an IMAX digital screen in 2011.
