This cinema at Kapteeninkatu 26, was open between 01.12.1929 – 22.06.1984.

It was previously known as Altantis Cinema (01.12.1929 – 1930), Hollywood Cinema 17.08.1930 – , Joukola Cinema 26.10.1930 – 22.06.1984.

Since 1984 it re-opened as the Kom Theatre (“KOM-teatteri”) showing plays and dramas, which is still open today.
