I was hoping it would be in my 1956 Motion Picture Almanac,it wasn’t.

Mike, I added a photo. I attempted to get a shot of the marquee out a car window but the trees got in the way unfortunately. This was around November of 1988.

The Google Map and associated Street View are wildly wrong. I have no idea how Google came up with a street in Somerville that doesn’t even have the same name as the one the drive-in (in West Roxbury) was actually on.

Redstone Theatres opened the V F W Drive-In on August 5th, 1954. Grand opening ad posted.
