The “New” Bjiou Theatre opens for buisness in November of 1904 and though Zantow the Man of Mystery gets top billing it’s, ironically, the bottom billing that gets the interest of Des Moines. With the Kinidrome coming over from the Bijou which was formerly in Moore’s Opera House, the 612 Locust Street is converted to the Nickeldom to create a moving pictures only theatre in 1906.
