Located on the coast, it was a hot spot in the summer. The Midway Drive-In was opened prior to 1955 parking 600 cars. It was owned by William B. Derrickson.

The Midway Drive-In was actually located in Rehoboth Beach, DE. not in Lewes It was loacted next to the Midway Shopping Center zip 19971. The only theatre that was located in Lewes was the Auditorium.
Boy, the Motion Picture almanac from 1956,ain’t much of an Almanac,that is what it had.
