The Essex Cinemas opened in October 2001. This 8-screen complex was refurbished in November 2010, and two extra screens were added. One large auditorium is named the T-Rex, which has a 60 feet wide curved screen and is equipped with RealD 3D. The other smaller screen is known as Take 2, which can be hired out, and also serves drinks and food. All 10-screens are equipped with digital projection.
