The Tucson Drive-In was the first drive-in theatre to open in Tucson. It was opened on June 25, 1940 with Barbara Stanwyck and William Holden in “Golden Boy” and Anne Nagel in “A Bride for Henry”. It was closed and demolished in 1942.
