In the fall of 2007, Nicholas Longo opened the Indie Theater in a small strip shopping center near Six Points.

The theater presented mostly independent films while movie-goers dined on European continental cuisine.

Longo closed the Indie Theater on April 4, 2009, to pursue other business interests. The last showing was “Slumdog Millionaire”.
