The address for this theater is now part of Mt. Carmel @ 160 Colonial Ave, Mt Carmel, PA 17851. This points to the drive in entrance road. Structures are still up.

Opened on 6/5/1949 with “The Adventures of Robin Hood”. 850 cars.Snack bar is still there too.

Google Street view from August 2016 shows the screen tower still standing, not in great shape at all, but still there.

The Magazzu family of Hazleton ran this dr-in for a while as an x rated fare. The Magazzu’s also ran the valley Dr-in in Ginther, just north of Hometown and south of Hazletown Pa. on route 309. The Valley Dr-in was owned by Joe Petrole & has always been a family dr-in. The lot is still there with some remnants of the dr-in.
