This aerial view of the Wellington area of Nanaimo from the mid-1960s shows the Starlite Drive-In and its surrounding area as it then looked. The high school to the right of the drive-in site, Wellington Secondary School, was built during 1966-67, so this picture would have been taken during the early stages of the school’s construction.
