According to News-Examiner reports, the Motor-Vu Drive-In dates from the early-1950’s and was managed by Donald Welker. A 1955 story notes that the season opening in April was delayed because of the installation of a CinemaScope screen. Mr. Welker later assumed management of the Rich Theatre also.
The Motor-Vu Drive-In was listed in the 1988 International Motion Picture with a capacity of 300 cars.
