Cineplex Odeon opened its five-screen Station Square Cinemas in 1988, across the hall from the Famous Players Station Square Cinemas. The largest theatre, Cinema Five, seated 443 while the smallest, Cinema Two, seated 206.
Due to competition from the nearby SilverCity Metropolis, the Cineplex Odeon Station Square closed in 2001.
