Warners Improving Two

Warner Brothers are spending $75,000 to remodel the Chatham theater. Project includes new air conditioning system, new canopy, 1,000 opera chairs, and entirely new interior. Warners is also overhauling the Grove theater.

Chatham Theatre Opens

The beautiful new Chatham theatre at 75th street and Cottage Grove avenue, owned by Jack and Van Cooney brothers, was opened to the public on Wednesday June 7. The new house seats 1,000 and is a valuable addition to the busy neighborhood of which it is the center.
