The Palace Theatre was opened prior to 1926 when it was listed with 1,200 seats. In 1931 the Warner Theater was built and opened at the rear of the Palace Theatre. By 1941 the Palace Theatre was operated by Warner Bros. Circuit Management Corp.

The Palace Theatre was destroyed by a flood in 1955 and the remains were demolished.

The Palace was located on East Main Street. It was not adjacent to the Warner. It was destroyed in the Flood of 1955 and taken down.

The Warner was and still is on Main Street, and, to my knowledge, was never behind the Palace, which was on East Main Street.
