Located in the Indian Village neighborhood, the Deluxe was a decent-sized neighborhood house, seating almost 1500. Opened in 1918, it was designed by B. C. Wetzell, who designed a number of Detroit-area movie houses, including the Highland Park in the suburb of the same name. The Deluxe closed in 1958, and has since been demolished.
