The Jerry Lewis Cinema in Waterville promised family fare at opening in December of 1970. But Network Cinemas disconnected the phones ending support in 1972 and in it didn’t take long for the franchise in Waterville to dump Lewis' name from the attractor and building. And it booked X-rated films just to let people know there was a new policy.
